V195 battery life: hype or legit??

so I've been researching phones lately and the mot V195 has caught my eye. Is there any way the battery life can live up to the specs:

from phonescoop (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=906):
Quote:
Battery Life Talk: 10.40 hours (624 minutes)
Standby: 525 hours (21.9 days)

maybe they got the decimal point wrong? 2.1 days? esp with a class 1 BT radio in the phone.

I currently have a c331g which lists its specs with a standby time of 300 hours (12.5 days), and I get anywhere from 2-7 hours of standby time before I have to charge it. Naturally, I'm a bit skeptical of these numbers.

looks like its not going to be available to the public for another couple of months. any TMO reps out there previewing this phone that can confirm/deny the numbers about this phone's battery life?

its prolly using the same 1010 mAh battery that is found in the v190? that thing gets krezzy standby life

why was this moved to the problems subforum?

this phone hasn't even been released yet, so its obviously not a problem...

yay overmoderation

I have the V195 and it has excellent battery life and the stand by is longer than any phone I have ever had. Too bad this phone didn't have a mp3 player and camera but those are extras that I don't use often. For me, I want my phone to have good RF and connect to bluetooth smoothly and long battery life. With this phone I am very pleased. I also have the Samsung t-609 but the battery life sucks in that phone. Or maybe I talk too much lol.

option number 2, use your phone right infront of a celltower to maintain that kind of standby time. realisticly not possible, thats why its lab results but not real world ratings.

I've had my v195 for a few weeks. I last charged the phone 7 days ago, talked only a few minutes, didn't open it and use menus much, and turned it off for ~9 hours each night. I have about 1/2 charge left. Not sure if this will get me another full 7 days.

Well, I ended up getting only 11 days of standby which is well short of the advertised standby time but probably better than many other phones. See previous post for my general usage. There was five minutes or less of total talk time during these 11 days.

With a full charge, I talked nearly 4 hours which used half the charge (two battery bars left).
