sometimes cs ticks me off..feels like we're at war with each other

a customer accidently told cs to cancel all their lines when they meant to say one line. she came to us the day it happened so i called cs to talk to them about reactivating their #'s and waive the etf on all but one.

upto this point its noon and its been that day where all you hear since you clocked in is how much we suck,cingular sucks,etc.

then i had to battle with cs. no go for me. i gave up so i told the customer they wont budge for me if they wanted to fight, they can talk to them.


after 8 minutes, cs does it for them. wtf?

its not like i was pissed off at the cs when i called in, yet i get to deal with this stupid reps stupidity and get nothing done, while she talked to her and it gets done quicker than i could.

if she was in my market i wouldve probably go into telegence and done it myself to not deal with the stupidity of this rep, but she wasnt in telegence market, much less mine.



come on cs, we're supposed to work together, not try to make my life as hellish as you wish.

ps: i did get one rep who worked with me after this call in resolving another customers issue, so.............

Dude, the 20% that are idiots on both sides make the 80% look like jackasses.

This is the ways its always been and it will NEVER, EVER, change.

We could match them idiot for idiot, 1 for 1.....promise. While Ive been critical of Care at times, if you get to talking to them between fixing things you will come to realize that they clean up more of our crap then we do theirs, by a LONG shot.

Ive been getting OPUS errors all week and I've had to rely on CC a ton and every rep Ive spoken to has been more than awesome, the last one I intend to write a letter to her manager telling him what an awesome job she did. Ive noticed you get a lot farther with them if you just ask them how their days going, some are still cold to you, but most welcome a little small talk.

I owe them a lot this week so to CC I tip my hat





..yes though, the rep you spoke to was an idiot, but what can you do?

anyway, I'll agree with Tripy, sometimes talkin the small talk will get them goin to help out a little more.

I've also had those times Alfred like yours... customers come to us for problems and want us to call CC for them thinking since we know what to say it will help..... no. Most of the time I end up telling customers that they'll work better with them then me... not sure why but oh well. I don't understand it either but what can you do? That's when I truly appreciate the nice, awesome, know-what-they're-doin reps that I get and I tell them I love them....lol....

sorry, my coffee is effecting me a little differently today......

I feel yer pain man...

Any time I have to call Care I'm nice as can be because I spent almost 2 years in that department and I know that side...90% of the people I talk to are great, but it's that 10% that acts like we're working for 2 seperate companies and HATE US lol...I'm sure they deal with some jerk salespeople too but if I'm calling and trying to work WITH you, just do the same please!

Part of the animosity towards agents and such, is that sometimes we get some customers and accounts that, the contract shows that they were not suppose to have anything on the account, yet, when you open telegence you have Voice Dial, Insurance, Roadside assitance, and Media Basic on the account,

I know accadents happen when you are working with any system, heck, ive been responseable for them myself, but you start getting everyone going "Stuped Agents did this...did that yayayaya" so when we DO get that agent call...some people still have those feelings.

Personaly, I work in cust care, and I bend over backwards for Agents because I know they have the customer there in front of them, and they probalby already got REAMED by the customer, why would I want to make that Agents job ANY harder than it has to be.

I actually usually do better when i talk to customer service rather than have the customer do it. I generally do the small talk stuff though.

I have never had a problem with CS , Ports , relo, tech support , etc . Treat them with respect and you will get the same back . Most of the time it is Crapular that messed up . Brutal policies and greediness = second place soon for you - can't wait I need a steak dinner to celebrate !!!

In fact sometimes the ladies voices/personalities are so nice I feel like asking them out based on that ! But usually the call centers are a long way away .

they may be far away but the most important part is that most of the those great voices belong to beasts.
