I am able to go into P2kCommander and XVI32 and edit the gain table. All I do is open XVI, open gaintable.bin and edit the values (to make my speakerphone louder). I can make my in-call speaker louder but my speakerphone won't get any louder even after changing the number from 01 to 07. any suggestions??? it says the offset for external speakerphone gain is OD.

had same prob with my v188. gain adjust had no effect, and seriously, I dont know if the hardware would even support a raise in volume anyway, the soundwaves sound pretty close to square at the factory max volume (in HP'd and LP'd mp3 ringers).

You can look up the seem edit how-to for gain tables, and see if that has any effect?

But how do you like your 190? I was thinking of swapping my 188 in for one. I just cant seem to find a phone thats exactly what I need, but the v190 looks pretty close to me.

I believe the earpiece gain offset is 0D - the speakerphone offset is 31
