hiya! i was wondering if any of you indirect dealers have found a instant activation credit card for customers that do not take a week to mail?

we have many customers with no credit, credit card, or bank account, and they want a go phone and we are really looking for a workaround. we were told to use prepaid debit cards but they take a week i think, and by that time, the customer has moved on.

i would be grateful for any help as it would improve our business. thank you again!

The card takes a week, but the reciept you give them with the activation number is their card until they get it. It becomes active that day as long as you call Green dot and activate it. (Greendot is the super evil of the world though, so beware of that, they have lots silly maintence fees and what not.)

If you're in a mall location, have them buy a Mall gift card (usually VISA). As long as it has an account number, they should be OK. Just tell them they'll have to put more money on it or get a new one before the next billing cycle.

I dont really suggest greendot neccasarily, mostly because of those maintence fees, but you would probably have that with any card company like that. As long as you set the expectations for how much it costs with their 4.95 reload fee, 9.95 activation fee, AND 4.95 monthly maintence fee every month on top of what their plan is, then it would be fine.

thank you blessd24. i am to assume then even if i were not to go with greendotonline, i'd still have to deal with card company with similar fees.
