MPT & Ringtone Volume

Hey guys

I was trying to search this, but it was giving me the different 'ringtone' results that I am looking for.

I make my own ringtones & such, but when I transfer them to my phone via MPT, the quality sounds terrible I know there's some program out there to fix this, but I can't find it because everytime I search, it just returns results about editing the actual ringtone volume that you hear when the phone is ringing and not the quality.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Greatly Appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

When you put your ring on the phone from melody maker, it encodes @ 32K. If you save it to PC, and then use file transfer. It encodes @ 56K.

What is the quality of the ringtone? What is your gaintable.bin volume set to? I have a few rintones that sound fine on my computer but sound low on my phone but thats due to the ringtones quality it was encoded at. If its a MP3 then encode it at MP3 quality and not midi.

each ringtone quality differs. but no worries. i got them to turn out sounding perfect. i transfered them via p2ktools instead of mpt and they sound great i guess when you do it via mpt it changes the quality type, and ends up sounding ickie. but now i am happy cause they come out perfect with p2ktools.
