i am useing euro firmware 1.140....
i can not get access to that page by 8+power....
is it because of the firmware version
or is it because the phone is sim locked to vodafone

It's the firmware version I believe. It's only proven to work on the 1.046 euro fw thus far. Sorry about that. What I would suggest is to reflash your phone to 1.046 eure firmware if you can. There's no difference between the two of them except accessing the hacks from what I've read.

euro 1.140 doesnt support 8p

you need 1.046 or later

From what I've learnt today, you actually need to have a 903 that's been bought from Japan and overlaid (ie flashed) with a different firmware to get to that menu (because only the JP firmware had access to the testing menu). That's why only the people with the 1.046 firmware are the ones able to access it - because the 1.046 firmware is the one being flashed on all these phones! Our 1.140 firmwares are authentic Euro ones and never had access to the testing menu in the first place.
