Slvr L7 mp3 "not" ready, hmmm

So I bought a cinglar branded slvr l7, got it unlocked at a 3rd party shop. When I got it back I checked the phone status and noticed it said that the phone is not mp3 ready and I can not use and mp3 ringtones. Is this correct? I don't remember if it was enabled previously or not. Can I correct this with a seem edit? Thanks

its just a bit turned off in the seem, if u seem edit it to say on as per www.xlr8.us/hofo, also u may have to do a master reset/clear before it shows up. but it does absolutely nothing, even my V60 says mp3 ready.. i think it means the optional mp3 player headset you can connect to it will funciton, not that it will or will not play mp3 music./
