SLVR - auto update not working?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I had to seem edit my unlocked SLVR to get the Auto Update menu to appear - i set it to ON. When I looked at my time this evening, the time had not changed to reflect daylight savings - it was still one hour behind. I have a feeling adding the menu did not actually add the functionality. Anyone know how I can get it fixed? My girlfriend's RAZR updated just fine.

Try restarting the phone.

Did you seem edit your phone for the Autoupdate feature? Does anyone know if the Cingular branded SLVR has this feature by default?

Mine did not work either, so I just changed it.

I seem editted my unbranded ones. But I ended up changing the time manually

My friends cingular branded SLVR has the Autoupdate setting. Not sure if his works or not though.

The are two offsets to change in seem 0032_0001, they are: offset 00 -bit 0: Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date > Autoupdate Menu (1 on, 0 off) and bit 1: Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date > date setting option (1 on, 0 off)
This is the one you probably forgot to change:
offset 55 - bit 2: Time Autoupdate (1 on, 0 off) <-- this will actually activate the feature, the menu item is in offset 00
