V3 buzzing noise

hello all, i bought my gf a cosmic blue razr V3. a couple of days ago we noticed a buzzing sound when u press the key pad and speak to someone. the noise comes from the earpeice. i read alot of threads about this. will motorola give us a new one since we are coverd under the 1 year warranty?
if so will they be able to give her the cosmic blue edition?

take it back to the store where you bought it from. From what I understand....I think the v3's got a bad batch of circuit board with poor grounding. that's what the noise sounds like to me and if you've ever been in a car where an amplifier was not grounded properly you will get a high pitched sound as well as buzzing. This is exactly what's happenng with my razr and i'm on my second one.

if the keypad is illunimated, the buzz should only come from the key pad....which is normal.

there were other threads on other forums discussing the issue and a tech had managed to increase the volume on the phone through programing. It worked for one I believe and not for others.

i purchased it through an authorized dealer, i am not sure if they will take it back. i am still going to try them out. what about if i speak to motorola, will they be able to send me another V3 cosmic blue edition?????

you should talk to the authorized dealer and see if they can do anything for you first. If not, then call T-mobile. Try going up the chain before you contact the manufacturer.
