hello all.
i am as NEW as a NEWBIE can get. i just got a verizon razr v3c and hated it so i began searching the web for fixes and came across this forum and was happy to see there is hope in sight.
i was overwhelmed by all the posts and the number of programs needed to do all this stuff but then stumbled on the tutorial: http://wiki.howardforums.com/motoro...ser_Int erface
with step by step instructions that it seemed even I could follow.
WELL... i got as far as updating the flashing the alltel firmware then i hit a problem.
when i got to fix the get it now. i start PST then i try to open p2kcommander and i can't get it to run. i keep getting 'p2kcommander.exe has encountered a problem and need to close'.
p2kcommander doesn't appear to have an install program and there is a 'drivers' folder, do i need to install these to getit to work?
i did not want to do anything not specifically listed on the tutorial as it is the RECIPE i was following.
(if i click p2kautostart with my phone disconnected from the computer i get an icon in the tray that says AT DEVICE DISCONNECTED. then i connect my phone and it says SWITCHE to P2K mode and THEN i get the error and it shuts down.)
if i need to install drivers or something could someone please give me detailed instructions as to how.
thanks,
brian
