Is there a seem edit for the screensaver timeout? I want to make it shorter than 1 min.

I have an idea, but you failed to mention the type of phone you have. If its the type I'm familiar with I may be able to help you.

Um, if you reread his first post you'll see that he updated it to include what phone he has...

I'm just sittin' back and waiting to see what's gonna be offered here - according to xlr8's seem map (http://xlr8.us/hofo/map.txt) there's nothing listed as far as when the screen saver starts, but you can edit the display timeout and the backlight timeout.

This worked for someone else with the L7. Heres what I posted to him and it cleared up his problem.

"I don't know about the L7, but my v325 does that. Have you turned up the brightness lately on your phone? The way mine works correctly is to make sure the brightness is turned down to the zero setting.(still very usable at this setting) Any setting above zero causes the display to stay lit for about 1 min instead of the 20 secs timeout that the backlight is set for. This is a software bug in the ones I got. Try it on yours.

Yes hytran .. I checked the seem edit map before posting. What I really want to do is SHORTEN the screensaver time to start .. from 1 min to say 15 sec. Not sure if Albie understood that, from his last post it didn't sound like it. Anyway, Thanks for all the posts, I appreciate any help I can get, as i'm a noob at this stuff.
