can somone tell me how to get that annoying led to stop flashing green. i just want it to flash red when i get a missed calll or messages.

Go into options, screen/keyboard then turn led coverage indicator off.

Options>Screen/Keyboard>LED Coverage Indicator>Off

Not sure the model you have but I know this works for the 7100i (and probably all 71xx models).
