Hi.. I'm really new to this stuff. I unlocked my V3 about 3 months back from Cingular, they gave me th unlock code. All I did on my phone was flash the newest Tmobile version and change the external screen picture. It worked fine for months...

Two days ago I answered a call and my internal screen turned white. The external screen still showed an active call. Within a few minutes the phone just turned off and was unresponsive. I would hit the power button and the keypad would light up for a second then turn off. After about 15 minutes of being this way it started up again. And when I say started up I don't mean rebooted, I didn't hit power or anything, it was just on. Later that night it did the same thing and has not been back on since.

Bootlader opens with hitting *# power together. I tried a new MP, that didn't. First the Cingular one from Motox. On RSD it worked until it had to power up, which it could not do automatically, nor maunally.

I opened up bootloader again and tried a different MP, this time a stock one. It was successful. The internal screen was white while the external screen showed that I had one new text message. I called the phone and it rang too. Nothing else. Buttons don't work or anything..

Can someone please help me. I am trying to save my phone..

i think it should be problem on it's LCD Cable which contect the LCD Screen with the system. Bestway is replacing the new LCD Screen with cable or if you can find the new cable.

you mean to say that you updated your razr with a cingular flash right?? not a tmobile flash?? if you update with a tmobile flash, I think it locks your razr to the tmobile network.

^^ not necessarily....could've been an unlocked, t-mo branded flash...

you should take it back....apparently up here in canada there was a bulletin put out for the white screen. Basically it's defective so you should get another phone.
