Backlight staying on

Hey guys,
I recently got my phone wet, but after it drying out for 2 days it started turning on and off fine, and the keys are working. The only problem is, my v635 is now not changing screens. I dont know how the best way to explain it, but the key lights and the inside screen is staying on even when the phone is closed, so my screensaver is running, and batttery life=poop. Just wondering if you fellas at the forums had any ideas.
