SE47 Charging Port Repair?

I just got this SE47 off Ebay and it worked fine until the 2 batteries I have for it ran down. I discovered that it does not want to charge correctly. I found that I have to hold the cord at an sharp angle to the phone to get it to charge. Is there a way to repair this? Has anyone else had this trouble?
Any help is appreciated.
