Getting rid of Ntelo banner

I'm new here so bear with me, please.

I have US Cellular service and have inherited a Ntelos Nokia 6255i, the same one USC handles. I'd like to get rid of the Ntelos banner and even get the phone to be able to access Easy Edge. Is any of this possible?

The banner part is easy. Just hit *3001#12345#, goto NAM 1, then Alpha Tag.

The EE part isn't so easy. You'd need to have your phone reflashed with USCC firmware. There are very few CDMA techs who know how to flash Nokia's with other people's software, let alone have the software to do it. Good luck
