Hi,

i just bought a brand new pebl U6 from my german service provider (o2 germany) and figured, that the latest official firmware availiable here in germany (G_08.83.76R) wouldn't work with my apple powerbook via bluetooth.

So i did some research

and found a G_08.84.25R which works great wiht my powerbook but has no german language.

Can anyone help me with a Language Pack for this firmware, or another firmware which has german language and bluetooth support for mac?

My phone also lost the ability to indicate whether i'm in my "homezone" or not.
( problem ist also described here )
Does anyone know, if the solution given in the linked thread will work on my pebl?
I'd simply try it, of course, but i've problems getting my pebl to work with p2ktools (p2kcommander works perfectly though) any hints on that?

Any help appreciated!

Can you post the exact version you have flashed, please?
Because I have the same problem here - no bluetooth connection to my Mac! Can you verify if the speechrecognition feature works with german pronunciation? Also do you have the instant messaging feature as mentioned in the manual? What about iTap?
I know these are a lot of questions....

I still did not have the courage to flash, since I am more than confused by all the different firmwares. Here is a list of the language codes. Still I am looking for a safe way. I already sent an email to Moto support; they gave me the phone number of a company in Flensburg, which is doing their servicing in Germany. I will call them on Tuesday.

I made this LP reflash the EXACT same way I made my own 0001 US English ONLY LP for my PEBL and it works perfect. This one has LP LP0039 which includes:

Language Package 0039 (UK English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish, Portuguese)

USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

I just put all my courage together and flashed my phone with the firmware posted by DJDownhill. The flash procedure with RSD Lite 2.5 worked without error message, but after rebooting, there was no visible change to the situation before. The S/W version as shown by the phone was unchanged. Also, BT still did not work with my Powerbook :-(

Olaf, did you flash from G_08.83.76R? As I understand it, that will not work, because you need the languagepack posted by DJDownhill and the firmware itself!
If you want I can give you a link for
R478_G_08.84.25R but you can google for it, and you will find it easily.

Here is the R478_G_08.84.25R_MLP_MDRM_Reflash which includes No Languagepack & No DRM icons. Flash this then the LP I posted before and see if that works?

To be honest I really couldn't say. The only thing I can tell you is back up all the files in c/mobile/VST and reupload them after the flash? I'm thinking it should as this is a flash not a flex and if I remmember correctly the flex holds the ObeyMoto. But don't hold me to that.

I still had German after flashing with the multilanguage firmware offered in your last post. Nevertheless, I also used the LP00039 in addition. Finally, BT is working with my Powerbook!!

@t3chie: The /vst files are still there after the flash. I did not use speech recognition, yet, so I do not know whether anything changed.

Just wanted to let know everybody that the speechrecognition was not affected by the update posted from djdownhill, so now I have a PEBL with 08.84 that works with iSync 2.2!

PS:
I have just flashed the "R478_G_08.84.25R_MLP_MDRM_Reflash" , there was no need to flash a languagepack afterwards.
