Does anybody know of any 3rd party applications that will make my PIN to PIN messages more secure? What is the best way to set up Email security? more advanced then just a bez? thanks

Um I may be wrong but isnt RIM's emplementation of Triple DES encryption for email the highest possible - even the USA Government uses it no?

Just keep in mind that with the BES 4.1 exchange server there are now audits of your PIN messages.

OK - well - it depends.

As I understand it - with the latest and greatest software: If you are sending PIN-to-PIN within a BES - then yes - you will benefit from very strong encryption.

And yes - you can also save and audit these messages.

If you are sendin/receiving outside of your BES or aren't using a BES - then there is NO SECURITY whatsoever with PIN messaging.

Not sure about PIN messages but the Blackberry email system is VERY secure.

NOT absolutely secure as if someone really wants to get it, I still think it can happen.
