SLVR itunes problem

so i got my phone 2 days ago, i got it unlocked (meaning i had to get it flashed so that i got the cingular webaccess running on it, because it was compatible with tmobile and cingular) so the store told me today that im not able to get itunes onto my phone because my phone came straight from motorola without being through cingular customs yet. (so it didnt come with itunes). so when i plug my phone into the computer, itunes doesnt do anything, it didnt read the phone.
does anyone have a link to a place where i could somehow get the software onto my phone. or any help with this please?
