Well I was talking for a while about buying a car... well I finally got me a 06 WRX brand new. It's AWESOME! It's Aspen White, stock right now but kinda thinking about doing some mods to it.

is your wrx with the airplane grill (as in the new ones)?

i honestly HATED THAT LOOK. however i saw a recent magazine where they shot the picture from almost above the car at the front and it looked really sexy lol. however i still think from the front or sides, its really awkward.

i think the first mod u should get is HID's to take away attention from the grill =D. btw dont bother with intake, i think it was the wrx that actually lost power from aftermarket intakes (brand name ones) or was it another car?! my memory sucks lol

Not really, i think i might have ripped a grill off while i was looking at the ugly grill. How much did you pay? 10grand? not bad. I would have gotten an is300 or an evo8, or an s2000, supra, or civic SI ANYDAY over an STI, or if its even an sti. I got some pictures of one and i think its the ugliest car to be out since nineteen ninety foe! but uh, good find for 10 grand.

i dont mind the 06 rex wagon, but not the sedan, the sedan looks demented, the wagon looks very sleak.

huh? 10k for a 06 wrx? if u can get it for 10k get me one too..

I think the first thing I'm going to do is HIDs on the car. I agree when I first saw the grille I wasn't a big fan but it slowly grows on you. It takes a while to get used to, I was driving the parents' 04 Echo hatch and it was just a daily driver but this car is a MACHINE! I don't have as much understeer as before and it's got a lot of torque, well compared to the echo. I'll get some pics up as soon as I get them.

My insurance right now is about 250 a month through ICBC at 25%. It's not bad but it's not the best either. Full comprehensive and collision coverage, replacement cost, 3rd party liability, the works pretty much.

I'm 21, turning 22 this year. Just got a full time job so I figured it's time to get a car and what not.
