How to put ringtones on my new vx 8100

Hello everyone...
i just recently upgraded from a Motorola 710 to a LG VX 8100.

On my old phone in order to get ringtones, i would go to Walmart.com, save one of their 30 second .mp3 clips onto my computer desktop and then email it to my phone. My phone would save it and i could assign it as a ringtone.

Does this new phone have the same sort of feature, or is it just as easy to apply custom ringtones to this phone?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

geez, use the search button...

there's no way to change sounds to ringtones on the 8100.

if you want custom ringtones for free, you are going to need bitpim and a data cable.

With such a wonderful attitude as your's, people will be jumping to help you out and answer your questions. I know I will.

Get used to it. It's not the quickest way but you should spend a few days searching when visiting a new board. It's a new issue for you but to some people they've been asked a thousand times. Think about it, I'm sure you get similarly annoyed in real life when people keep asking you the same thing.

Like he said, you need Bitpim and a USB cable.

Is a good start. It's relatively easy. Or at least after you do it once it'll seem that way. I guess it depends on your OS though. I have OS X Tiger.
