Falken Azenis RT-615, 225/45R17. Can't wait for the next track day.

I might be picking up some of those soon. A couple guys on my team love them and a couple others have opposite feelings. Yokohama's are a bit too pricey so I will probably do the RT-615's as well.

what bulb are you using for the fogs ? more pics =)

6000k HIDs

Looks like you need a camber kit for the back

Posted by: c^2

Nah, negative camber is good.

Posted by: EricssonBoi

How much did they run you? Where'd you get them from?

I had the RT215's .. and they were amazing.. never squealled on me..

Posted by: c^2

About $400...would you believe it.

Bought them brand new off some BMW forum from a private seller.

Posted by: Skylinepilot

$400 Canadian?

Posted by: c^2

Yes, Canadian.

They are great tire that is widely appreciated.

There was an instance that bothered me though, a friend of mine wore his out in just 2 months. He was dissapointed with the performance and longetivity with the tire but others time said they he was driving was too much for the tire and it may have caused them to heat up way too much and killed the life of the tire.

I'm kind of skeptical now but I think I will still probably end up with a set. The other option for me is the Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 but they run just under $900 USD

God, that's an amazing price.

I don't think you can even get the cheapest set of tires w/ that size for that price!

well i would assume treadwear is based on moderate driving. lol if u drive crazily (like me) then ur going to wear your tires out faster.

i had my stock goodyear eagle rs-a's on and after less than a year they were crazy bald and the rears looked so funny. cause we have a bit of negative camber (i think) on the mazda3's, so when u looked at it, half the tire was bald, hhalf still looked good lol. the fronts were dead.

but yeah depends how u drive

Posted by: c^2

I don't expect them to last long at all - they're shaved to 4/32". Hopefully they'll last me through this summer though, including track time. At this price, I couldn't resist.

U of T downtown business building parking ?

where did you place the ballast for the fogs ? worried about winter ?

Posted by: c^2

Yup, Rotman.

I mounted the ballasts up near the headlights, so I'm not really worried about winter. Ran them through this winter without any problems.

Posted by: evilgabbie

sounds good .. gonna do it myself.. HID fogs.. but i need resisters and stupid stuff

who did you get for the install or did you go it yourself ?
FINALLY might have time to get back to school.. so i will see if i can park beside you lol

Posted by: c^2

What car do you drive?

Posted by: evilgabbie

C320 Coupe
