VX7000 can't see my Ringtones!

I have a VX7000 and i downloaded some ringtones onto my phone through the datapilot connector. I don't see any of them on the phone. But when i go to ringtone and then to 'Read from mobile phone' all of the ringtones are there. Can anyone help me out? If you can that would be great.

i have the same phone but i use bitpim to make my own ringtones

you need to delete the sounds.dat file so the phoen will have to rebuild it on its own.. if i remember correctly..
