Ringtones Different After Getting V7 on 8100

Hey Guys...
After I upgraded from V4 to V7, i have a little bit of a ringtone issue. After getting V7, everybody who had an individual ringtone before now only has the default ringer. However, whoever had the default ringtone before works just fine.

What i mean by this is:
if my ringtone for everybody was 1.mp3, and my friend "jon" had a special ringtone of 2.mp3.... jon's ringtone now is the default ringtone despite what i set it to be, but everybody else can still have a custom ringtone.

Is there some .dat file that holds who has what ringer that i can delete and generate a new one of to fix this problem?

I've asked this question before, but only got stupid answers like "try setting a ringer to everybody." I tried all the obvious stuff, but cant find a fix.

That sounds like a flaw that happened when they updated your phone. If it's only a couple or few contacts, try erasing those contacts then putting them back on as new and try the personalized ringtones again. That's what I would do.

The ringtones assigned to the contacts get screwed up during the upgrade. Happens a lot. Its best to save all your phone info into PC using Bitpim and then reload back into phone.
