How can my 6682 Contacts look like simple old 3120?

Part one:
I'm a new owner of a Nokia 6682 on Cingular. I love the features and looked forward to a smartphone with a decent camera. I have always liked Nokia's "logic" for storing a single person's various phone number's under one contact name with different icons. Now after putting the SIM card from my croaked 3120 into the new 6682 I have a separate contact number for each person, i.e Bob1, Bob2, Bob 3, etc. In addition, all of these are listed as "mobile" for the phone filed, so I not only would have to manually change them all, but i dont know which were the person's mobile, or home or work, etc, without putting the SIM card back in the 3120 and going thru each contact?

Part Two:
I was able to run the iSync application off my Mac g5 and sync the contacts list and calendar. However, now the 6682 Contacts have a separate contact for each phone number (Eeek! 470 records!) and separates each field of the address into a separate phone field (i.e. Address(work):3 Sunset Court, City, Zip Code, State/Province, etc, - unusual order) which is a ton of scrolling. Is there a way to display a brief, simle screen of a Contact name and address as if it were an address without the field titles and field border boxes like you would see in an Address Book?:

Name
Phone
Address
City, State, Zip

Thanks in advance for any help and please bear with the newbie-ness of my question as I am new to the forum and tried searching, but couldn't come up with an answer.

THANKS!

I just went to the 6682 from a 6230, and I too was dismayed at the prospect of having a seperate entry for each number, as it got copied over via the SIM card duplication at Cingular. When I did an Outlook contact sync, I noticed that some were right (one name, multiple numbers) and others multiple names with one number, all listed as mobile. The problem was that even though I had deleted every contact on the phone first, when I did a bi-directional sync it must have restored the phone setup from a backup and then combined the two on both the phone and in my Outlook Phone Contacts folder. The solution is to edit the Outlook folder however you want it to be, set the sync direction to OUTLOOK -> PHONE only and re-sync. Now if only the Outlook categories would carry over to the Nokia groups, I'd be all set.
