MotoMidManager and V710

I'm trying to get Moto MIDlets Manager v0.37 (I've also tried v0.38) working with my V710. I have completely uninstalled the USB Modem and all Motorola USB Devices and reinstalled pointing to the drivers located in the P2K_Drivers directory of the MotoMidMan package.

Currently when I run MotoMidMan it finds my cell phone automatically but takes forever processing then ends up giving me the error "Unsupported platform. Can't Continue."

I ran it again, this time switching to the Log tab before it tried connecting and found that it was trying to read Seems but kept failing. A sample section looks like:

p2kapi.SeemRead: 0032, 0001, 0, 0, 0x01A242B0
p2kapi.SeemRead: failed
Ready
p2kapi.SeemRead: 004E, 0001, 0, 0, 0x01A269C0
p2kapi.SeemRead: failed

This continues for another 4 Seem Reads and every one fails.

Any ideas about what to do?

Still trying to get this resolved, anyone able to offer some help?

v710 with which provider?

Alltel. I've been connected via Bluetooth and Data Cable (Data Cable for this stuff). Thanks for the help

The midmanager program is for java games, and alltel uses brew, I believe (correct me if i'm wrong, anyone?). You won't get it working.

MidManager is for Java, but I thought the Java vs Brew was dependent on the cell phone itself not on the carrier. I could be mistaken about that, I just assumed.

In that case, what software is good for loading brew applications? I'm looking to find a different MP3 player than the one that came with the phone.

Most cdma phones use Brew (although Telus's v710 uses java), thats why I mentioned that.

I don't think that installing brew programs is possible, because of the DRM/security that brew uses (apps are locked to a specific ESN).

I am using a e815 which does have java, but no matter what I do I cannot get the motomidman to connect to the phone properly. It says connected but then it will hang and I will eventually get an "Unsupported Platform" error.

I have tried installing the 2.9 drivers, RSD Lite picks up the phone fine, I can use BitPim, MPT, PST 7.1.1 and 7.2.3 but no matter what I do I cant get Moto Middlet Manager or PST tools to connect.

Can anyone confirm that they have got motomidman to connect to an e815 or V710?

Thanks.

Additionally, On a fresh load of Windows XP SP2 I can connect to the phone fine with PST and even run P2KSeem fine, P2K Tools will not work and midlets manager still doesnt work.

It looks like these programs just dont look for the proper seems for the e815 or the v710.... I hope I'm wrong. But if I'm not at least I know I'm not as dumb as I was starting to believe.

Here is the output of the Moto Midlets manager log
