C975 power and signal problem

Hi, ive just got a c975 as a nice it was really cheap and came with a great deal on 3 network

at first it worked fine for about 20 mins, i inserted the sim, battery and started to charge, then the signal just went and has not come back, to top it off now the phone wont turn on without the charger and wont charge at all either.

ive rang the network and they have said its not the signal or anything so must be the phone, i was wondering if i can do anything or is it a case of getting a new one?

i hope someone can help

*UPDATE* the phone will now not even charge now , the charger light keeps flashing but nothing happens

Hi,
It suggests you've got a faulty battery. Sometimes batteries in phones get discharged to a point where they can't take the charge from the charger supplied. It's probably best to go to your local shop and tell them that you think you may need a new battery and get them to check it. Then try eBay and get one cheaper!
