e815 microsd format error - format=filled disk

I just purchased a sandisk 1gig for my E815 cell. I put the card in, recognized fine and even wrote to and played the mp3. I decided to format to ensure it was correct and once I did that, the details showed all available space filled. I formated again as well as resat the card and still it shows all space filled. Ive no card reader to do a PC format nor does anyone close to me. Has this happened to anyone else before?

the e815 has an issue with any card over 512Mb. Format the card as a FAT16 file system in your PC and then put it into the phone. You should get one of those multi card readers, they are well worth the little amount of $$ they cost.
