Your phone has Brew 2.0 which prevents you from putting games on your phone. The only way to get games is to use Get It Now.

Is Brew 2.0 on all Verizon phones?

Yeah it's on all the new phones and most of the older ones.

I ordered a Data cable and cd with all those extras for my VX4400... Will I be able to transfer those games to my VX4400 or is it BREW 2? What about my VX6100? Or is that one BREW 2? Thank You!

You can put games on the 4400, but you cant put games on the 6100.

As far as I know, there is no Java support on the phone, If you happen to have an alltel flashed phone, you might be able to. The only head way made is that you can buy the game for the subscription price (3 to 4 bucks) copy it off you phone, unsubscribe the game, and then copy it back to the phone, bam, no monthly and you still get the game. note this only works on games that dont say airtime required.

I have the files for games on my computer (mif + bar, mod, and sig files) that I got from another thread, but I can't put them on my phone using the BREW file in bitpim. Any advice here? I was able to actually place all the files as instructed, but after trying to access them on my phone it was a no go, nothing showed up even after restarting it ect, then when I connected to Bitpim again the files were gone. I can't make them stay put! The only mark I seemed to have made is that I did notice a strange "application" file upon accessing my Get It Now programs through the service menu, but it did nothing but give me a white screen with boxes in it. Am I using the wrong method?

Again, as mentioned above, the free games will only work if you DO NOT have Brew 2.0, which I'm almost 100 percent sure you do! ): Good luck

Would this work with demo versions, as well?

I read a couple of replys up that a person might be able to get a game threw the GIN and then copy it i assume onto the computer and then unsubscibe to it and then put it back on and this may be a way to get around the outrages fees from VZW for a simple little game. Will this work to do the same if you want to put the same game on more then one phone ( i have 4 of the razor V3c phones with all the editws done to them). If this is possable can anybody tell me how to do this and were on the laptop i would find the files with the games in it and were to put them back on. I have Motorola phone tools 4.04 and PST with P2K will this work to do it with.

lol you're talkin motorola i'm not sure it's the same, but i imagine you grab the subscription games files using bitpim and save them on your computer just like my LG. i have recently subscribed to massive snowboarding and am going to attempt this, i'll let you know if it works for me when i do. you have to put them on exactly as they were when yo upulled them off. ps massive snowboarding is a pretty awesome game, recommended

I have down loaded a game to my Razor V3c Verizon phone from the GIN network can anybody tell me how or if i can copy the file with the game in it from my phone and can i copy it to one of my other 3 Verizon Razor V3c phones with out having to buy it three more times can this be done. I do have MPT 4.04 and PST and P2k and (RSD lite never used it yet)

i have a question. when you get games from get it now and your purchase the unlimited and not the subscription do you still get billed month to month or is it just one time fee??

Posted by: aocarpenter

Hear is what i was told from Verizon customer sevice before i purchased my first game.So far as long as you do the unlimited purchase it is a one time fee just make sure you select the purchase option and not the subscription as this is a monthly fee. Also the thing to rember is make sure you read the info on the games you purchase as some of them say air time requried so even if you do the unlimited thing it will still use your minutes while you play it.The other thing to remeber is that once you purchase it do not remove it if you think you ever might want it again as you will have to pay for it everytime you down load it.If you still are not sure just call the customer sevice and ask them to be safe.

I hope somebody can come up with a plan for us verizon people so we can do the game thing like everybody else

thanks alot for the info. ya there has to be a way for us verizon to get feee games too.

I have not found anything yet on if copying the games and restoring them can be done yet on the Verizon phone.
