(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Crazey

I want the smallest but packed with all the features. I like the size of the siemens SL56 and SL65 but they don't have many features. I want the smallest available with bluetooth, MP3 ringtones, etc... Camera would be nice, but doesnt' HAVE to have it.

Thanks
Peter

That thing's as tall as a lipstick bottle man...

The VK2020. So small, it makes the SLVR look bulky.

yes, but notice how they found the biggest lipstick bottle ever for the picture? seriously... go find a thing of lipstick from your mom/sister/gf/wife and tell me if its that big?? i doubt it...

not saying the phone isnt tiny, because it is... just saying they are trying to make it look even smaller than it is...

The Samsung SGH-P300 has everything that you listed. See http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=849 . You didn't list 850MHz, so note that this phone lacks it. Other than the VK2020 and KTF EV-K130, it makes every other phone listed here look like a brick! ;-) You can get thing thinnger now (like the Samsung X820), but I don't know of one that's smaller overall and works in North America.

The P300 is virtually the same dimensions as the VK2020, but heavier... and much better quality. I've had both models. It also differs in the "i can get" requirement, because VK Mobile just went out of business recently, so you'll only be able to get used or excess new stock.

Also note that the P300 has a newer sibling coming up, the V870 (http://www.unwiredview.com/2006/04/...num-card-phone). They complain of audio quality on the P300. I would say that the main problem is echo on certain calls -- some calls are fine. It is not perfect, but it is still my favourite "pocketable" phone so far.

hello, the 7280....

nokia 7380 comes in close second, no expandable memory, but with its size you cant complain much.

Why not the D807?

The D807 is NOT small.

Yeah that thing is really wide. Narrow feels smaller than thin to me.

Pantech C300 !!!

Good one! I am still waiting for a trustable source to sell unlocked C300's so that I can use one here in Canada.

I should correct a mistake in my earlier post. The Samsung V870 is a CDMA model for Korea, not an updated GSM model of the P300.

Sorry to bring this back up, but I am looking for the smallest phone also, with bluetooth, mp3 ringtones, etc, but I would like my phone to be a flip. Any help would be appreciated.

The smallest phone with the most features is the Samsung x820, getting mine in the mail Thursday

Posted by: mobileobsession

^ The Samsung D900 is a bit thicker than the x820 but it has better and more features and a cool slider form factor.

The smallest flip phone in the North American market is the Pantech C300 offered by Cingular.

The X820 is an impressivly thin phone (especially keeping the features), but it's not an especially "small" phone because it is quite long. The Samsung P300 has similar features and is credit-card sized in length and width -- though brick-like by comparison at 9mm thick! :-)

One thing that I like about the X820, and the VK2020 that I briefly had, was being very light. The X820 is just 66g. Very nice.

BTW, there is a NA version of the X820 coming out, the T519. Presumeably, it will have 850MHz. See http://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=1837 .

I just got my x820 today and boy am i impressed the picture quality is great and it is SOOOOOOO thin, I dont think the phone is long at all. As far as the t519 it does not have a 2megapixel camera. It is amazing how they can get a 2mp camera in here.

Posted by: pr5owner

if your going for ULTRA small then try the neonode N1M i doubt anyphone can get smaller than this and still be a phone. the neo node even has a FULL SD slot (not mini or micro)

Just saw this on Gizmodo :
Xun Chi 138
Does that count?
It's got most of the bells and whistles, but it only comes in Pepto-pink.

Posted by: Jayden0606

I'm suprised noone mentioned the Xun Chi 139 .... link : http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/...aced-cellphone/ .... and would u believe it has USB connectivity, camera (either 1.3 or vga), mp3 player with 121MB of storage. Can't get any smaller than a finger like phone....

Posted by: Jayden0606

Nevermind... I see that yuzan has covered that, never saw a 2nd page.
