how can I get mmf ringtone to work on 803T?

I downloaded some mmf files and try to put it in my Mini-sd card.
However, it doesn't work. The file won't even show up on the phone.

Can someone help me out? Because I want to customize my ringtone.

i htink you have to use the usb cable that is included with the phone and use the software called beat machine to copy the songs to your phone.

not sure if a straight itunes or yamaha conversion and copy to memory card will work or not.

I am talking about "Ringtones" not MP3.
Are you talking about transfer those mmf ringtone files to beat machine file?

kevo was talkin about mp3 ringtones.. ringtones mean.. mp3.. or mmf or some other format. he's just saying that if you want mp3 ringtones.. u need to use the beat engine. and if you want mmf ringtones. u need to use goldwave then yamaha's mmf editor to make them

i thought the 803t doesnt support mp3 ringtones until the firmware upgrade?

You should stop holding your breath about the firmware upgrade. If it becomes available, then it will, but don't assume that it's just around the corner.

As far as mmf files for ringtones, i don't have a mini-sd but i was able to transfer some onto my 904T's phone memory, just make sure they're in the right location. On the 904T, you have to put it in... Data Folder\Melody&Music

Got my .mmf ringtones working jsut fine by putting them in:
PRIVATE\VODAFONE\My Items\Sounds & Ringtones
That's on the UK version of 803T

that should be same for all of the toshibas.. its a stardard folder found on all vodafones from sharp and toshiba
