Than the Treo? Really, if you throw wifi out, doesn't really come down to personal preferences between OS and form factor?

I got the 8125 because my local store had them for 425 no contract, but I'm wondering if I wouldn't be happier with the treo.

8125 > Treo

I much rather have WM5 than the Palm OS. The 8125 camera is superior, reception is superior, better screen, better keyboard, faster EDGE, and Wi-Fi.

The Treo 650 as EDGE class 6, if I'm not mistaken.

After owning both, I say that the 8125 is far better.

-Renders pages in PIE much faster than in Blazer on the 650
-More screen real estate for better browsing/editing
-Better email solution out of the box
-far better keyboard
-wifi of course
-WM5 is just more powerful

the thing about wifi is that wherever I may be that has wireless internet, there's usually a computer near by. I don't care how good the pda browsing experience gets, it's never going to be as good or as fast as a regular computer.

As far as other issues, here's what I've noticed:
WM5 feels very unstable--gets hung at different screens requiring soft resets a lot.

The keyboard is great if you are able to sit back and pull it out to use 2 hands. If you're driving down the road, forget about replying to a text. Same problem with dialing a number--no way to do that without 2 hands unless you're going to put big fat thumb prints on the screen.

WM has always had a way of hiding their settings and making it difficult to use--wifi is the prime example--you have to set up so many additional settings to use it, and mine still doesn't work correctly. My life drive was as simple to use--just turn it on and go.

As far as the treo is concerned, it was designed for 1 handed use, and I'm realizing that's a big factor for me. Also, as customizable as WM is, I think I'd rather have the simplicity of the palm OS.

I got the 8125 because I couldnt find a bad review. well I got it. Yeah it was nice, keyboard, WM5, Wifi <---- which is a pain in the a$$ too hook up. BUT, the sound quality SUX, OUT LOUD, pun intended. Also the keyboard is rickity the way it wiggles up and down. I thought it sounded like a cheap Korean phone. The form factor is that of the things which are stacked all around my house. I know I know its not a one handed device. And that is one of the major reasons I sent it back. I did all hax in a weeks time, skype , sirius, processor overclock etc... etc.. I think I,m gonna get the treo 650 and be sufficed until the 700p for GSM is released. because I need a one handed device more than WM5, WiFi, and huge keyboard.

i had treo 600 and then 650 for over a year, and yes, i love wm5 over the Palm OS. it is better.

i may want to buy an 8125 but i just want to know, does it have a note pad that you can actually draw on, not type, but draw. I like this feature thats included in some pda's like the palm zire 71.

Thanks
