i am very frustrated in that I cannot seem to load MP3's or any audio from my PC to my phone. I have tried a few different cables, and the one i am using now, works on my buddy's phone. I use BitPim, but no matter what USB i plug any cable into, it doesnt detect any phone at all.

I have been reading on here that the Future Dial Cable 19 works. However, when i went to the future dial website, it asked for my phone information and tells me to buy cable 49. can anyone assisst me in transferring my own ringtones with the cable i have or in any way at all? the voice memo ringtones just arent working!!!

Is your buddies phone a 3200 also? B/C here at work, I can't use a USB cable to reflash a 3200, I need to use a serial cable...

no it wasnt a 3200 come to think of it. however, i still cannot find a cord that will work for me. i tried radio shack, and i work at best buy and we dont have it either.

Do you have the right drivers installed? There is a thread on this same problem over 18 pages long. I bumped it up for you.

i cant find the drivers anywhere, and i cant find that thread...i think i looked at it before and a lot of it was over my head...im getting frustrated with the damn voice memo ringers lol.

Get the Prolific FutureDial Composite USB Driver (You'll have to make an account it's easy)

If it's all over your head I suggest going to eBay and purchasing the data cable plus software.(or just the cd) It's very easy to install and hook up. Here's the link:
