Is the inability to display artwork (album covers) a problem with Mototunes or the 1000 song version of the iTunes corelet?

Before installing the 1000 song iTunes corelet, I had already installed a bunch of songs via iTunes on my Cingular branded SLVR. After installing the 1000 song version, I then tried Mototunes to see if the interface was OK, and that went well. Then I noticed there was no artwork showing up during playing. I know that Mototunes doesnt support Artwork but does using Mototunes effectively remove the artwork that was already loaded using iTunes, or this a problem with the iTunes corelet?

I can't be sure as my V3i doesnt support the itunes 1000 app, but mototunes rewrites the itunes "index" file, which probably also overwrites your album art information as it should be stored in the index. You could always try uploading with itunes and see if you get album art again.

Ok, thanks. I figured that Mototunes was touching the database file, but wasnt sure if that was also affecting the artwork display or if the iTunes corelet was the issue. I know the files for the artwork are still there on the transflash. I guess I could remove all the songs, reinstall up to a 100 on the phone with iTunes and then check to see if the artwork comes up. Should verify if the corelet is able to display the artwork...

When i Re-Flashed my ROKR i decided to use Mototunes aswell as intunes, What a mistake i made. I downloaded the songs Using Itunes ( PC Ver 4.9) and then ran mototunes. Where did my songs goto? I searched the TF card and they were still there but for some reason mototunes wiped out my itunes database. What i had to do in the end was rename the TF card Under my Computer and then re-load my Songs with itunes.

Maybe it is something i did wrong but i just use itunes now. Got rid of Mototunes.

Try removing mototunes and then re-uploading your songs and Art and it should be OK.

Ya that is exatly what I did justa few minutes ago and the artwork came back. So its definately just mototunes which I know the author is aware of, as the release text states there isnt support for artwork in mototunes. Oh well, I will still use mototunes unless someone finds a way to put 100+ using iTunes. Thanks for the input!
