I've looked everywhere but cant seem to find the drivers for the SKN6311A cable... Anyone know where I can find the drivers? Thank you!

There are no drivers for the cable itself. What software are you using to try to connect your phone?

Posted by: Mark_Venture

You can use BVRP's drivertool to get the phone connected up and displaying as Moto USB Modem in device manager when attached to the PC via the SKN6311 series or compatible cable...

Um, which phone and wich provider??

If its a GSM phone... I think NOT... Bitpim is for CDMA only...

If CDMA... yes and no... see my bitpim page (use link in my signature)

It's a verizon wireless phone. Is there any free programs I can use to put ringtones on the phone? That's all I want to do... Thank you for that driver it finally recognized the phone!

Again, you didn't say What model phone?

Bitpim is Freeware. BUT again, you didn't say what model phone.. so I can only say for the V710/V3C/E815 the bitpim info I have works.. when it comes to the V325/V265/V276, I'm not 100% certain... But its more due to the file types supported by the phone, and how much space the phone has...

The "email trick" also works... for most, again, depending on file type limits... Discussion at -> http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=673967

So you might want to pop-over to the Verizon/Moto group here and do some searching and reading... this has been covered many times for each phone there.....
