the phone def isnt worth the money... i mean its a good phone but not for $200. i would suggest spenind 100 more n just getting a RAZR or Slider Remix if u are goin to spend the 200 on the xcursion. u would think for $200 the phone would play .mp3 rings let alone CLEAR ones. the format for the ringers r shi**y n makes em sound like crap too! one thing is that ive never had a reception problem or any other problems wit it. its a decent phone n the bluetooth is okay but i still dont think its worth all the money we pay for it!!!

imho... if we are talking about cricket i think it is a significantly better than th v265 and 8910... and definately worth paying $20 more to get a color external display, a larger internal screen, and support for bluetooth(though it is limited to basic functionality). i'd say it is worth it, tho if you can spare the cash you are probably best off going with the RAZR V3c... all around better phone. also i hear cricket is going to be getting more moto, lg, and of all things even sanyo, over the next year or so. so if you can live with something like the dorado, and save up for one of these nicer phones the line up should be significantly different in a years time (i.e. a lot less kyocera) plus when evdo launches you will need a new phone for it to work on evdo. not even the razr will be compatible for some reason.

Well my girlfriend and I have cricket (her the Audiovox 8910, me the Motorola V265). Her audiovox sucks, it crashes and battery dies instantly. My moto will reset constantly and battery sucks.
I was considering the RAZR phone for me, but after many people writing in and saying to stay away from it, I just decided to go against it. I was thinking of getting my Girlfriend and I the Xcursion instead.
Now, I am a Moto freak...all I trust are Motorolas. How dependable are the Kyoceras? Are they a phone that is worth the hassle of getting? Battery life? Camera quality? What programs can I use to upload ringtones through USB Cable?
Convince be to buy the Kyocera Xcursions. I want to hear more good stuff from this phone than Motorolas.
BTW, this is for CricKet Service.

Yeah the Audiovox 8910 doesn't do well in reception and the V265 has a display issue that drains the battery after you close it. Looking at there website I can't say they have a huge choice of product. If you are going to use them then you maybe better of paying more or get an opinion on the UTStarcom 7000.

Well, we were looking into these Xcursions, and are very interested in them. I would like to be able to use a phone, kind of like my old Alltel LG AX4750. With no problems whatsoever, no problems like the Audiovox and the Motorola. I like the fact of the bluetooth, and many other features. I am getting opnions on the Xcursion, but that is the phone both of us will most likely go for.

Xcursions are good phones. I've had mine a year and had no problems with it. The bluetooth since a cable isn't necessary to transfer sounds and images. Good reception and not complicated to use. As with all kyo's the menu is very simple to navigate. I don't regret buying mine but I would like a phone with a bit larger display.
