FYI...

Both the LG PC Sync and BitPim both work with the CG300. Unfortunately, you can't transfer sound or graphic files between the phone and the PC. You can sync your phone book as well as your Memos and Schedule. From the debugging output in BitPim it appears that the phone has the ability to allow you to pull SMS messages, but that functionality doesn't appear to work in BitPim.

Note that you will need either serial data cable or a USB data cable that is a USB to Serial type of cable that will make the USB connection appear to the computer as a serial port for use with the programs.

Note that in BitPim, you have to manually configure the phone to be a LG-C2000.

Try setting it as a lg-g4015 instead of an lgc2000 in bitpim.
Although if PC sync does not work then bitpim probably will not, they probably crippled this phone in the same way they did the c2000.
SMS will not work in bitpim if there is no way to get them off the phone.

Thanks for the info guys... it really got me out of a bind (needing to get phone lists downloaded to 50 phones)

I still can't get the lg software to work, and I can't get bitpim to up/download images as either a c2000 or g4015 as mentioned above.

Anyone else having better luck?
