Toshiba 803T: Video playback/transfer

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

So, the 803T has some decent video recording. 240 x 320 resolution isnt bad at all.

But has anyone tried converting some of their own vids and transferring them over to the mini-sd? Say, family guy episodes or something. If so what program and settings did u use? ( audio and video bitrates, framerate etc) and how did u transfer the video over?

yeah i'll just hit convert and everything will work the very first time.

all the settings i've used dont work. Im just wondering if anyone else has tried and succeeded.

Mine is the 803T..and i havent had any bluetooth or mp3 problems. Only mp3 ringtones

man i was just asking

i dont have the phone

ok..... did u try the SD video like sharp phones ?

Posted by: break-r

sorry, i was a bit edgy..my architecture class is overwhelming at times.
but i read someone said 3gp + AAC general settings at 15 fps + stereo will work?

I have the 803t with Japanese firmware, and using this program http://www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp...onverter034.zip , I can only get videos to play with 3gp + Amr Xvid setting. I don't know if it has anything to do with my phone not able to play aac and mp3 natively.

^ how's the quality on those vids?
also, is it just a drag and drop program? if so i might already have it :P

The quality of the video is pretty decent. It won't look or sound as good as a sharp 903sh, but I think its good enough for me. Totaltoanage can give you some pointers on converting the video. The videos he converts are really good, but its on his 903sh lol. The program that I have provided is a drag and drop type. Doesn't have an installer, just double click setup.exe to configure language and pick 3gpp+amr xvid. You can experiment with other settings if you wish, but that was the only setting that worked for me.

hmm..i wonder if the firmware upgrade will allow the 3gpp + aac setting

Yeah hopefully... so I can have video with stereo instead of mono.

Did you try out the program? You might be satisfied with the results.

will definitely try tomorrow

ya it seems to play the 3gpp+amr xvid video's with ease... so i think it's a vodaphone thing that restricts the phones "true performance"

have said that you can use crappy mono 3gp ringtones now!
