I have a question. If I take out insurance on my brand new W600i and then "somehow" the phone gets lost around July/August is there a chance of them sending a W810i to replace it? I'm just wondering, don't flame me.

Doubt it. They'll have the w600 in stock for a while. Maybe in the old days when you could do it in store but, no chance at getting it right now.

I got a nokia 3590 if i "lose" it do you think lockline will send me a 9300. This is almost as entertaining as a turkish site.

For a 3590, they will send you something like a 3120 or a 6030.

Its funny, there was a post a few days ago and the person got a 6682 as a lockline replacement for his 6230.

Yet at certain times a 6682 was replaced with a s710a and a s710a was replaced with a Siemens S56 or RAZR. Too bad there's not a phone-scam subsection for all our felons on here.

Can you explain what the benefit insurance provides over just the standard 1 year warranty?

If you lose your phone, or if you smash it, stuff thats not covered under normal warranty is covered by insurance.

People would do whatever just to scam a new phone. I just cannot believe cingular is offering them for them, something comparable to a 6230 is a w600i or a v3, not a smart phone.

But..... A V3 or W600 dosen't have external memory up to 1gb. The 6682 is the closest match because its a Candybar,with support of up to 1gb.
