MPT and chinese

I've been using MPT for quite some time now, but EVERY single time I load up MPT and it tries to read my chinese characters within my contacts, it doesn't show up properly. All that shows up are a few question marks. On my computer I already have the asian language pack installed, I even tried installing a 3rd party chinese reader (NJStar Communicator) and still no luck. When I try to sync my contacts, it changes all my chinese characters to question marks.

Is there a fix for this? I don't want to install MPT in chinese as my chinese isn't THAT good.

Has anyone tried asking at their support site, www.bvrpforums.com ?

it won't read. according to BVRP technical support, they said that you HAVE to be running a chinese OS then have the installation in chinese in order to read those contacts.

I got it to work by using a program called Microsoft AppLocale which can be downloaded from the microsoft website. It will allow you to see those contacts that are in chinese.
