Treo 650 issue turning on.

I asked the Verzion pda forum and I thought I ask here also for more answers. I just recently got a Treo and everything works well except I can get into phone mode. I try to turn the phone mode on and the phone soft-resets and the phone mode does not turn on at all. I went to a verizon store today to get it activated it and they did not know what to do. They did soft resets and hard resets. Neither worked at all. I don't know what I can do. Any ideas? Thank you. btw. I did a search but nothing specific came up and the palm site wasn't too helpful on this issue.

The first thing I would try would be a ROM/firmware update.

Scroll down this page and run the Verizon 1.04 updater.

let us know what happens, and we can go from there.
