I am trying to find an antenna amplifier that will boost my signal for my Blackberry 8700g which is contracted with CellularOne. I presently have an Inteligain 800Mhz amplifier which worked with my Blackberry 7280 phone because I have no signal at my home. When I bought my 8700g, it seems that the Inteligain amplifier is not compatible with the new model phone. Anyone know of anything that might work? Neither Blackberry nor CellularOne has been able to help me with this problem. My Blackberry phone serves as my only phone and I need to be able to get a call through. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

www.digitalantenna.com Has the amp your looking for. It works like a repeater. The amps they sell will work many different cell phone including GSM 850/1900 and GRPS, CDMA, PCS, TDMA just to name a few. I thinking that CellularOne is GSM-GRPS. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure why your 8700g isn't using the 850 mhz signal that your older BB was using but- google "solid signal repeater". its a 1900 mhz cellular repeater I use with T-Mobile here in NYC. Works pretty well and one of the cheapest out there (aroudn $225)
