i have a lg vx 8100 and i use data cable from verizon and i use the program BitPim i could do it in my computer but not on my loptop why??? can someone help me what im doing wrong !!!???? thanks for helping

Nobody can help you unless you give more details and specifics. What version of Bitpim are you using? Did you install all of the drivers onto your laptop? Are you getting any error messages? Does your phone appear in your device manager? Please answer all of these and add any info you think might help and please be specific.
