Am I the only one who's a n00b here cause for all the themes that i've downloaded off of Zedge the icons all stayed the same...

It's just now that i just downloaded this theme that totally revamped all of my icons... never knew that you can do that or am i just a n00b

I discovered that too last week and have made 2 Themes for my 8801. I posted pics and links in the themes section of the forum. I'm gonna try and make one for S60 phones next!!!

Ya i was going to sell it but after this orgasmic discovery maybe i won't.

Anyways, ya i never knew. All the dozens of themes that i had before kept all the default icons.

Haha this is hot.

EDIT: I just found that i'm actually using your Aurora theme Planeteno. It's great. Too bad I don't have netmon

I didn't know that either....

Can you change the icons for the 6101?

The 8801 and 6280 are not the same version of s40. 8801 is closer to 6101 than it is to 6280

I would have to say that i'm pretty impressed with these icons. The high DPI of the screen in addition to these icons really shows the brilliance of the LCD.

Yea ok its the default but not the same like the nokia 8800 been shipped whith.

Also i want to change my orange logo and add some letters behind the orange tekst is this possible? I know it must be possible but whitch programm can i use for this?

ow the heck do I tranfser mp3 rings to my 8801? Bluetooth ssssssssucks
I got my BT dongle installed. Now how? It reads in Nokia PC suite, but when i go into the Nokia audio mgr it lets me add my file but wont show the phone as connected...when it already is

this is the stupidest man s/w ever......what good is it having a phone that i cant upload rings to

You don't even need to have the software installed to transfer things to your phone. If you already have your dongle installed you should be able to just right click and transfer the file to your phone.

I think 8800 is closer to 6230.

I designed those themes with the exact perfect resolution for the 8800/8801/6230i. Thats why they look so good on the screen and its not slow when using it because the phone does not have to scale any of the images. I could resize the theme to fit perfectlt on a 6101/6102. If I get enough request I will.

Yeah, I was gonna suggest that 6230i is the same resolution as 8800/1, so does anyone here know if this icon changing will work with the 6230i as well?

I've been changing the icons on my 6101 with no problems, here is as far as I got earlier: clicky clicky

(You can download that right on your phone if you like, I've added the proper MIME type on my server. Or rename it to .zip and poke around.)

Just some standard ones from Gnome 2.x, and logo wallpaper to go with it.

I am still trying to figure out:

- How do you change the IM icon? I tried "im" but no dice.
- What is "simatk" for exactly? Nothing in my main menu.

Maybe someone here knows. Anyway, when I'm somewhat more satisfied with it, I'll probably put it up somewhere more permanent. (There are 48x48 versions too, but I didn't include them.)
