FlashBackup 2.62 and restoring full backup?

I have a V635 and have successfuly created several full backups. I wanted to test them out before trying a new MP. I deleted a couple of wallpapers and tried to restore using my full backup. when I try to restore is says " please wait sending loader", green bar goes the whole way across. Then is says "Sending loader....done". After a few seconds my phone disconnects and shuts off, and flash backup is froze. I have to end task to shut it down. what gives?

here are my flashbackup settings.

Backup mode- full backup
phone memory size- auto

disable backup compression and support- checked

loader- 32mb(08A0).ldr

I have tried using the different loaders but to no go.

I have asked this question before, but did not get an answer. Any help would be appreciated. I do not want to do any flashing without having a working backup.

what bootloader u running? i had to downgrade my bl to 07d0....works like a charm

I also have 7do, couldnt even make backups before that.

try using 2.5. its listed as stable under some1's suggestion. i forgot who.

so let me get this straight..u HAVE BL 07d0? and you CAN make a backup, but u CANT restore a backup....im alittle confused...is this right?

u try to make a different backup and retore to that one? also try a different version....older versions

I have made several backups all with the same result. I am also having difficulty finding another version of flashbackup besides 2.62.

This may be a dumb question, but if I made a flash out of my full backup. Can I just flash my phone with it, and it will be back to the way it was?
