Would like to know what is the easiest way to unlock v360 at home...

(if i flash unbranded unlocked firmware will the fone be unlocked??)

and alsoe, would like to know what is the most up to date firmware with more functions (may be mega pack?) and how to put portugues language after flashing...

as far as I learned here, if you flash a unlocked phone with a locked flash then you'll lock up your phone, but I flashed my razor with an unlocked t-mo flash and had a " flex error/subsidy locked" then with the help and reading more I got to clear that out of the way, read before you flash/flex, got alot of horror stories here, if you don't select the right one, but I recently had my t-mo phone unlocked by calling them directly and after giving all info they sent me the subsidy lock password

easiest way is if you have tmobile call them up tell them some big story your goin out the country and wonnia use your phone with within a few days you will get a email with your code. Or try doin it online which is alot faster go to t-mobile.com and then contact us and from there you will see some opinions to pick then its simple from there

I'm not on cingular i live in brasil my operator is Tim, i just want to unlock via usb cable a downloaded ust but i dont know which program to use to unlock my fone..

right now the only 3 ways u can unlock the v360 is if your service provider gives you the code, you send it into a mobile store that unlocks phones for a fee, or you do it using the complicated hardware (testpoint/smart clip). so basically, there's no simple way to unlock it by yourself. In the us and canada there are some companies who you send your phone to and they unlock it for you and send it back, maybe there are some Brazilian companies that also do this? And quiquedcode, debranding and flashing your phone wont be hard, you can learn how to do those things by searching on howardforums and google, but unlocking it is difficult.

You're right, I've flashed the phone with the Yuet monsterpack, but well, I could not unlock it yet. It has the 08.A0 bootloader and I've seen that this will be only unlocked by doing a testpoint to it ...

The bad thing, I'm being asked 70 for doing this... and I found only 1 guy that will be able to do this... I'm in ARG

yeah quiquedcode, my carrier (t-mobile) said that theyd give me the unlock code but at the last minute (right before my flight from usa to india), they said there was a problem and motorola wasnt giving them the code, so i had to spend a bit of money buying a slvr l7 here in india, so i know how tough it can be to get the v360 unlocked. Yuet's monsterpacks are awesome though aren't they?

I already unlocked my 2 v360 without testpoint at all.. and it's all free.. this is pretty cool..
Note: you might need some experience abuot flashing your phone..
