It's horrible, at least the Euro version. My brother in law had one ... he paid 100 Euros for that POS on T-Mo Germany pre-paid at the BX. He says it has horrifyingly awful reception, especially in the barracks. When he was here in January, I played with it. When I first looked at the screen, I could've sworn it was one of them dummy phones, the res was so low.

If you're looking to get a cheap but reliable back up phone from Cingular's GoPhone selection, I'd get either the Samsung c207 or the Nokia 6030. I found both to be more usable, have great reception and better screens. I'm actually kicking myself a bit for not hanging onto the c207. I'd say the Nokia is only slightly better as it has a better screen and that FM tuner (with headset, sold separately...heh...10 bucks on ebay).
