while using multi flash flex program, while it was erasing flash memory, i unplugged the USB connected to the phone, tried to switch phone back on, the screen is blank but the keypad is on, have i totally ruined my phone, or is there a way to fix it?

Oh My, why would you or any decide to unplug the phone while flashing, I think it clearly states to have a full charged battery and never unplug your phone while flashing, try getting connected and reflash, hopefully it would put all the files back in, but check around or wait till the pros answer you.

I'm sorry to seem mean but, Why in world did you unplug your phone during the flash. Really you deserve to have a bricked phone for that. You really have to pay attention to guides people have taken the time to write out. I mean WOW, very helmet of you sir.

Sorry

Take the battery out, replace it, connect the cable, press *# and power and see if it goes into Bootloader mode with MFF. If not try and use RSD lite 2.4 or above (Google it. Links = banned), then Monsterpack it.

It might work. MIGHT!

and don't unplug it this time while flashing!

Cheers for the help mate, but if it does not work, can i send it off for repair?

but you do know, flashing /flexing does void your warranty?

Like other people said, WTF were you thinking, unpluging the USB calbe WHILE you were flashing the phone? Regardless, it's a software issue. No matter how bad it might look, it CAN be revived. The only question is, are you willing to spend the time (and it may be considerable) doing it? Sending it off might actually cost you more than buying a replacement V3. I bricked my son's V3 after trying to edit the PDS. It only took me 36+ hours (literally!) to get it working again, but I did.

I've sent V3's back to Cingular and/or Motorola, all having been unbranded and flashed to the latest firmware/flex. Not a single one has been rejected under warranty by either company.

i've done that before with my v220 and cingular, they accepted it.

Got to say this, I took my cell to T-mo, cingular, and Verizon, they all triped looking at my razr, they all just sales people and don't know much past selling you a contract, but i guess they'll take it, Dam! good to know.

Yeah... I'm fairly sure it's because youi unplugged it whilst flashing . (sorry, I could't resist).

I hope you can get it to come around... I reflashed my Razr last week, had to downgrade the bootloader and the whole-enchilada.. the downgrader app failed in the middle of the process... thank goodness it all worked out in the end. Hooking that phone up for the second time was very scary.

I'd start reading... if you can bring it back from the dead, it will be a testament to how much (more) you've learned!

Good Luck

Yeah, well i see if a phone repair shop can fix it, eh?
