As the title says...

I have an 8125 now and I can pair the phone fine with my car and when someone calls me and Im in the car the BMW ULF answers the phone fine. It displays the phone number fine on the radio.

The problem is when it is connected it doesnt allow me to scroll through my phonebook using the steering wheel controls therefore I cant make a call using my steering wheel controls.

Any help would be great!

BTW I have a Sony Erricsson S710 that works perfectly with the BMW BT kit.

Maybe I need to update the BT module on the 8125?

Thanks

Yeah, i wish I had that problem....maybe I will not too far down the road. Just another reason why bavarian motor works is awsome. Have you tried possibly talking to someone @ Cingular or your local dealer?

I'll check when I get home today. It did with my V3. I normally use the "dial name" feature.

It works ok with the radio. I can scroll through my contacts.

We had a 3 Series that we had issue with.

We had to do something with the OBEX setting. But this is when I had Sprint so I think it may have been something with the phone.

We ended up using the voice dial to make calls
I doubt if this helps but this is what we have to do.

Enjoy your beamer, we loved ous till we had the kiddo and had to get a bigger car.

Right I can use voice commader and it will dial out...but I want the thing to scroll with the steering wheel. Plus I lose the caller ID name if its associated to my contact list.

I love the Bimmer too!!!
