I just noticed this the other day when trying to take a picture in a really dark place, wondering if any of you have the same problem....

OK, so i was taking a picture of my dog in a PITCH BLACK room, and accidentally covered the lens. THe phone restarted, and i was like WTF? I tried again, and it continues to happen with the flip opened and closed! So i was wondering if u guys have this problem (not that its major in any way!)

BTW Firmware version 8720_01.1E.00

so in order to simulate...put on the camera.

2) Either turn off all lights in the room and press the capture button while covering the lens/ front of phone

3) or cover the front of the phone with your hand and hold it up to something dark like the back of your chair..really seal out all the light..press the capture button...

wow no testers..maybe i should have put this in the vzw forum, but this motorola section is not onlt about GSM!

Although...i did post it late last night...and it is early the next morning.

Mine doesn't crash. I've tried it in many differnet resolutions and lighting settings.. None made it crash. In fact, my phone hasn't crashed once since I upgraded to 8720_01.1E.00. Are you using a stock skin? I had trouble with some buggy third party skins...

Yeah i've tried it with stock skins and aftermarket skins, both make it crash. I'm on maximum resolution too..i just tried 640X480 and it still happens

What a weird but to have on only my phone...it actually happens with all stock skins.

Mine always crashes whenever i'm on aim..then i go to preferences...then sounds if i then click "END" on the "Sounds" screen for some reason
